Join us on Sunday, 12 April 2026 from 10am to 4pm for a special day of discovery as we open our doors to the community with free entry all day.
Wander through the museum, explore the recent changes, and be among the first to experience our newest exhibits. From treasured local artefacts to the rich history of Mudgee and surrounds, there’s something to spark curiosity for visitors of all ages.
Whether you’re a long-time local, a history enthusiast, or simply looking for a wonderful Sunday outing, this is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with the heritage, people, and stories that have shaped our town.
We invite you to come along, bring family and friends, and enjoy a day immersed in Mudgee’s past.
The day will incude free morning tea, an archeological dig, blacksmithing, opening of the New Big Shed and an Anniversay Ceremoney at 11AM.
