Lucerne Press

In 2008 the Mudgee Historical Society Inc was asked by the Museum of the Riverina in Wagga Wagga in southern New South Wales to provide some information on a Mudgee lucerne press/hay baler which that Society owned. Coincidentally The Mudgee Historical Society had recently restored a similar model and was able to provide  extensive information in the form of a booklet which I compiled from an interview with a member, Brian Marchant, who had used one in his youth.
